This hip belt works great for a home workout! Like the other reviews said, you have to make sure the dumbbells are strapped pretty tight. But once you get used to it, it definitely takes your home gym workouts up a notch!

This flexmate is better than any of the other ones I’ve tried. It is definitely heavy duty! I’ve used it with dumbbells and it is an excellent way to keep up with my hip thrust exercise routine at home. Wow, I can feel the burn!!! I’ve been slowly building my home gym over the past few years. This hip thrust band is the perfect addition. I’m 5’7 and weigh 115 lbs. It works great for my height and weight.

The belt is comfortable and well made, with solid materials and workmanship.My only issue is that the straps don’t really grip the dumbbells to keep them from sliding. You can try wrapping them around the bar several times, but it would be great if the straps had a rubbery side with some kind of clamp to keep them locked onto the bar.I hope this helps. I have worked out once with this and it held 10 pounds well for my hip, Straps are thick enough and should support more. Pretty comfortable and plan on using daily. Overall I am very satisfied.

I’m finding all sorts of uses for this hip thrust belt. I use it during glute bridges, dips, planks and more. It was getting difficult to balance a dumbbell on my back during a plank until I discovered this belt. The dumbbells seem to slip for me, as you can see in the pictures. It doesn’t bother me, but I guess I should play around with it more to see if I can make them tighter. It’s padded, very easy to use, and can be used with weight plates and kettle bells as well. It also came with three resistance bands; each one is a different amount of resistance.

I think this belt is really great if you are looking for something to hold lighter weights, but I have been trying to use this with 20 pound weights and the straps are constantly slipping out and dropping the weights. I have tried trouble shooting and practiced over and over. No matter what I try, the weights still don’t hold well. Again, I think it would work perfectly with a lighter set. I am bummed because I was really hopeful for this actually working well up to 50 pounds as I thought it said it was good for.
